Privacy Policy

EV Drip collects as little as possible. You can browse the whole catalog, every guide, and every product page without giving us anything.
What we collect
- Your email, only if you give it to us. The watchlist page lets you subscribe for updates. If you do, we store that email address so we can send them. Nothing else about you is attached to it.
- Your Google account, only if you sign in. Saving a part to your watchlist asks you to sign in with Google. Google handles the sign-in and tells us your account name and email; we store those and the parts you save so the list follows you between devices. We never see your password.
- Aggregate traffic data. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless and does not fingerprint or track you across other sites. It tells us which pages get read, not who read them.
- Standard server logs, used to operate and secure the site.
We do not collect payment details, because we do not sell anything. We do not sell, rent, or trade your email address.
Affiliate links
When you click through to a retailer such as Amazon, that link carries an affiliate tag so the retailer knows the referral came from us. The retailer sets its own cookies on its own site under its own privacy policy, and we never see what you looked at or bought there, only aggregate commission totals. Deleting your data
If you subscribed, two different things are available and it is worth being clear which is which.
- Stopping the emails. The unsubscribe link in any email marks your subscription inactive. You stop hearing from us right away, but the record stays in our database.
- Deleting the record. Email hello@codemodeapps.com from the address you signed up with and we will erase it entirely.
Deletion requests are handled by hand, so allow up to 30 days. We will confirm once it is done.

No passwords, because Google handles sign-in and never shares one with us, and no payment details, because EV Drip sells nothing directly. We do not sell, rent, or trade any of it.
Third-party links
We link out to retailers and manufacturers. Those sites have their own privacy policies and we do not control how they handle your data.
Children
EV Drip is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes, the update is posted here with a new date above.
