For the 2025 model year, Hyundai refreshed the interior. Reporting on the refresh describes a redesigned Universal Island that adds physical buttons along its upper surface for first-row climate, the heated steering wheel, and parking assist, and relocates the wireless charging pad.

Put those two facts together and you get three distinct console environments across the model's life so far: fixed, original sliding, and refreshed. A tray shaped to sit in one of them has no reason to fit the others. That is why the listings read the way they do.

Which Product Belongs to Which Car

The Most Informative Exclusion in the Catalog

Look at the fixed console mat set. It is listed for 2022 through 2024 cars with the fixed console, and it excludes Limited trim and the Ioniq 5 N.

That exclusion is not arbitrary caution — it is the console split, expressed as a trim list. Limited is the trim that received the sliding Universal Island rather than the fixed console. A mat set cut around a console that stays put cannot be cut correctly around one that travels several inches, because the floor area the console occupies changes depending on where it is. The seller excluded Limited because Limited is the car this set is not describing.

Once you see that, the whole category becomes legible. When an Ioniq 5 listing names trims, it is usually telling you which console it was cut around. Read trim exclusions as hardware information, not as legal boilerplate.

Floor Protection: Match the Interior Generation First

Where a listing genuinely does cover it, sellers tend to say so: the all-weather cargo mat explicitly names both Ioniq 5 and Ioniq 5 N for 2022 through 2026, which is what a real inclusion looks like.
